His Story

A career built around families, backed by a strong tax foundation

John understands tax law from the inside, and he pairs it with a genuine commitment to protecting what his clients have built. Families come to him because they want to know what a decision costs before they make it, not after.

Tax is not a separate subject from your Social Security timing or your estate documents. It runs through both. The decisions you make about wills, beneficiaries, retirement withdrawals, and long-term care all carry tax consequences that compound over time. John's work is showing you what those consequences add up to before you decide, so nothing surprises you later.

He works closely alongside his clients' CPAs and estate attorneys, coordinating strategy across every moving piece so nothing gets handled in isolation. His approach is to make complicated decisions feel simple and manageable.

Credentials

The background behind the two things we deliver.

Master of Science in Taxation (MST)

A graduate-level tax degree, earned while working in corporate finance, so it came with both academic depth and daily practical use. It is the reason the Social Security timing report shows you the tax side of each claiming option, not just the check amounts.

CLTC, Certified in Long-Term Care

John pursued this specifically to work with clients over 50 who are facing the financial, practical and emotional side of a possible care need. It shapes how your documents and your protection are put together.

IRS Criminal Investigation Division

John's career started inside the IRS. That foundation in how tax law actually gets applied still shapes how he reads a client's situation today.

Investment management at UBS and Morgan Stanley

Years spent managing investments at two of the largest firms in the world, which is where he learned how portfolio decisions and tax decisions collide.
